I got a travel size from one of the value sets and I really love it!Even the small travel size lasted for a long time for me!It is fragrance free and it is super lightweight that acne prone skin will not have a problem with this facial oil!I love mixing my moisturizer with the oil so im giving my skin enough nutrient.Other than that,it doesn't feel super oily nor heavy on the skin!I was surprised. Most of the time, facial oil tends to make my face look more oily.I suffered eczema on my hands and it pretty much healed the cracks.I also tried it on my cracked heel and it heal that too!Definitely worth every penny and im planning to get a full size soon!
I got this when I ran out of Vanicream. This moisturized my hands and it absorbs quickly. It did not leave any oily or sticky residue that made me uncomfortable holding stuff. My hand recovered in a week after using this.A little goes a long way and a tub would last me for a long time.I wish it was in a tube instead of a tub for hygiene purposes.
This petroleum jelly works absolute wonders on my skin and is a true life-saver whenever I get dry, cracked or reddened patches on my face and or body. It is also really effective as a sort of sealant after you've applied ointments and or moisturizers as it really stays on the skin and for people who have eczema, you'll know that moisturizers usually slip off and or rub off onto clothes after application. Vaseline really seals all the goodness in and acts as a barrier from the air; really soothing for when you're skin gets super dry and itchy. However, it does form a visible oily film on your skin and also has the tendency to make your skin sticky so things like hair strands and fabric fibres do get stuck onto them often. I would recommend only using this at night after showering. Other than that, this product is great!
This cream can be used on face or body. Bought one for my mom as she has sensitive skin with eczema problems on her hands. Sometimes she would share this cream with me too when my cheeks and chin are sensitive. This cream can heal scars faster too. My mom's eczema problem getting reduced and it is very hydrating. I would dab a thin layer on cheeks and chin and massage gently until fully absorb to soothe redness. It is not oily and sticky. Ideal for sensitive skin.
This. This. Is. A. God. Sent. Personally i don't have bad skin. My boyfriend, however, looks like his skin cells are fighting with each other. I introduced him to this after seeing his eczema. After applying it to his skin everyday for 2 months, his. eczema. fully. healed. Tbh i didn't believe in this product because personally it didn't make that much of a difference, but it changed my boyfriend's skin for life. He has spent thousands on dermatologists and medication for his condition, and it was this gel that healed him. Sadly I don't have before and after pictures, but, guys, take my word for it. This is best for problematic skin which can't take moisturising products that are too thick, because this product has a thin-ish consistency.
I bought this product at Guardian. I like that it is fragance free and the texture is not as thick that you feel like your skin can't breathe. I have quite a lot of eczema breakouts on my face. Generally, my eczema stays to my face and hands. I've decided to try this up in hopes that it wouldn't irritate my skin and trigger the eczema. And.it worked wonders. I find that it moisturizes my skin without irritating my eczema. It also has SPF in it which is good because I live in a hot climate country. Generally, it's worth the price.
This is the best make up remover I have used so far as it doesn't irritate my eczema and dry skin. I feel like it really removes everything and doesn't burn crack dry skin. The only thing it doesn't remove for me is mascara, but I can use an oil to dissolve the mascara first, and then use a soaked cottonpad in bioderma to remove the excess! It's a bit pricey but its worth it!
I love love love moisturising creams. Not because it instantly heals my skin, but because it stops the pain of moving when my skin is cracked and bleeding. However, the cream MUST be absorbent and not leave sticky residues, as I hate residue 😭 This cream has been known to be really helpful for people suffering from eczema... Does it really work for me? Well honestly, no. It leaves an oily residue hence not too absorbent and this causes everything I touch to have oil🙄 This is particularly annoying especially when using my phone to do stuff like writing this review 😉 This product is sold everywhere and comes in a tub so I would recommend you to use a clean stick or spoon to scoop up cream whenever you need for hygiene purposes
I first bought Soap & Glory when I discovered it in Boots pharmacy when I was in Bangkok. The product is in a simple baby pink tub packaging and have an amazing smell too (bonus point)!. The beads are not too abrasive and the consistency is like a paste with tiny sugary beads when you apply it to your skin. A little goes a long way for this scrub and the whole tub could last me about 3-4 months - quite an affordable price too. I will gently scrub in circular motion and voila, my skin feels silky smooth! I will use this once a week and realised that the condition of my skin has improved and no more flaky skin. Really lives up to its name - flakes away from your skin and leg, hello smooth and silky skin! Highly recommend this to anyone with dry skin.
This works wonders on my lips. It managed to treat my flaky lips leaving them feeling soft and smooth. The result is not instantaneous though, as I need to diligently use this before going to bed each night. Overall I love that it's not too sticky, so I didn't suffer any discomfort at all while using this. The only downside is this product cost a lot more than any average lipcare.
I've had a time in my life when my skin were dry to the extend that it's peeling and flaky. Was recommended to try this out and it really saved my skin within a week without clogging my pores. It's more to water base than cream as it is not sticky. However, only apply what you need as it can be rather oily for me when I accidentally apply a little too much.
Got this via Hermo because of my dry skin. I usually slather the gel on my legs and arms every night. It keeps my skin smooth, supple and cool, and has helped reducing the dryness. I sometimes use it on my face as well. Happy with the results thus far, though do note that it has to be used consistently every day to see a change. One thing I like about this is that it isn't very sticky. So it's easy for my to go about doing other things while waiting for it to be absorbed into my skin.
My skin gets really dry when I travel to colder places. Even spending long hours in libraries or lecture halls and on the plane, my skin gets dry and my lips get chapped and start to crack. I use this when I feel like my skin is drying up. One little dab of this and the moisture is retained in an instant! I never knew how useful this would be. Now i carry it with me all the time. Just rub it on any part of your skin that feels dry and the moisture will be recovered in an instant! Also, I love how it comes in so many sizes. I prefer taking the smaller sized tube as it fits in my tiny bags!
The packaging is nothing special as its just a basic packaging. This product manages to get off majority of makeup but a double wash is required to get it off fully. Downside of the product is that it leaves dry skin slightly flaky. Have not recommended this product to anyone yet as I was not left impressed due to the flaking part as I have dry skin .
I bought this product from Sephora. Liner gives a very black very precise application but flakes throughout the day. It is not long wearing on me(i have dry skin), and especially not for oily skin(according to my friends with oily skin). If you are looking for a liner to make a killer wing but do not need it to be long wearing, then this is the product for you. Otherwise, I do not recommend it.
didn't feel dryness after use… bu t not good in cover pigmentation…
i used this waterbank gel cream every night as a moisturizer. The gel cream is a clear gel which is said to moisturize your skin throughout the night. There is a spatula to scoop out the product so you wouldn't contaminate any of the product with your hands. The gel cream indeed moisturizes the skin, and has a light scent. After applying the gel cream the night before, my skin is somewhat brighter the next day. However, after experimenting with some other gel creams, i found that the Water Bank is not as hydrating & moisturizing. As my skin is sensitive & on the drier side, i would prefer a product that is more hydrating.
It is the perfect solution to combat dryness during winter season, and the price is affordable. Will always apply a thick layer after my shower when overseas so that my skin will not be flaky due to the cold season and irritate my skin. It is multifunction and can also be apply over the lips area. It can be a tad too oily for some people.
The packaging of the product is special and beautiful. The texture is good and the color is natural. I will use it as my base of my makeup everyday. It have the function of oil control and I really like this! This fresh BB cushion makes skin hydrated inside and matte outside for long hours. My skin are always in the moisture condition. I will recommend this to my friends.
I got this at the local Etude House brick and mortar store. the toner itself is colourless and the scent is what I would call non-offensive; pretty neutral and fresh, though you can smell the alcohol. The product really does work for those with oily skin, but it might be drying for other skin types so be careful! It takes about 8-10 months before you can really notice your pores becoming less obvious, so it's a gamble as to whether it works for you since it took a while in my experience. I'd recommend the Mandarin and Parsley toner from Skinfood over this one for anyone with oily skin, because it also helps with irritated and inflamed skin, though I haven't seen much effect with pores.
First, select the signs and symptoms of your skin
Your skin type is
Sensitive skin is prone to damage from environmental factors (wind, sun and cold weather). Your skin is often red and blotchy and allergy to cosmetics is common. Use fragrance-free facial washes and moisturisers and it's best to avoid skin exfoliants.
If your skin is sensitive, try to find out what your triggers are so you can avoid them. There are many possible reasons, but often it's in response to particular skin care products.
Your skin type is
Oiliness can change depending upon the time of year or the weather.
Your skin type is
Your skin is smooth and radiant because it reflects light evenly. Your complexion is balanced (not too oily or too dry), and you rarely have breakouts. You don't notice any changes in your skin throughout the day and can try many kinds of products without having a reaction. With no signs of oily or dry areas, the skin is soft and smooth with good elasticity and firmness. Your skin's pores are small to medium sized. It is best to use products that maintain hydration and water-based moisturisers.
No apparent oily or dry areas and skin appears balanced. It is the least problematic of all skin types. Your complexion is supple, healthy and clear with good circulation.
Normal skin can fluctuate between all the skin types, but won't do so radically or for an extended period of time. While it’s the ideal skin type, it still requires regular care to keep skin and oil production in healthy unity.
Your skin type is
Acne-prone skin can tend toward the oily side, but is often a combination of all skin types. Sometimes referred to as combination skin, acne-prone skin can also be dry, sensitive or mature. The obvious factor of acne-prone skin is raised lesions appearing on or under the skin.
Though spots can be painful and irritating, it is important to be gentle with skin. Try not to pick or squeeze spots and let them heal on their own. A natural spot treatment and a selection of natural and organic products formulated with spot treating remedies will help. Be sure to pay close attention to your diet and any external factors that may trigger spots to appear.
Your skin type is
Your skin can crack, peel, or become itchy, irritated, or inflamed. If it’s very dry, it can become rough and scaly, especially on the backs of your hands, arms, and legs.
Your skin type is
Your skin can be dry or normal in some areas and oily in others, such as the T-zone (nose, forehead, and chin). Many people have this type. Slightly different care in different areas maybe needed.
With a little tender loving care, it is possible to tame combination skin. The key to balancing oiliness and dryness is with gentle cleansers and regular exfoliating to remove dead skin cells and combat acne. Regular exfoliating could mean anywhere from daily to weekly, and it's best to let your skin decide. Water-based products are ideal.
