Liked the packaging and since it was heavily advertised at a point of time, I bought it to give it a try.
However, I sometimes get pimple breakouts when I use it in Malaysia, but when I brought it to Japan and used it throughout Autumn and Winter (cold weather tends to dry my skin out very quickly), my skin turns out fine.
Wouldn't really recommend towards people who aren't having dry skin though.
i like the packaging. the price is quite okay. BUT this is a very strong lotion for my skin type. i used this twice a day after i cleansed my face. used it for 2 weeks and it dried out my skin. my skin became so reddish, painful and flaky so i had stopped using it ever since and changed to a different lotion/toner. after that my skin has regained its normal condition and i am so thankful for deciding to stop using this Hada Labo lotion. idk if my skin is sensitive towards it or if it contains harsh chemicals inside, but i'd definitely not buy this again in the future. you can try it if you want, but make sure to test it first on your hands :)
I was on spree purchasing hado labo products and i stumbled upon this. It appealed a lot to me with its sleek classic packaging. It doesnt have much smell to it. I applied this right after toning and i didnt like it that much. Yes, its very hydrating to the point it gets oily and i had a pimple on my chin the day after. I would recommend this to anyone who has dry skin! This is just a bit too overwhelming for my skin. Would love it if i had dry skin tbh :/
I bought this from local drugstore Watsons for around $20+. It is the "morning" lotion as it is lighter than the regular blue packaging of Hado Labo (which is the heavier lotion version). The texture is less stickier than the blue packaging one as well.
I used it as a skincare for my morning routine as it is lighter than the "night" version of hydrating lotion. I discover that you should pat in the lotion onto your skin and there's no need to use a moisturizer after it as its supposed to be light on your skin for a morning skincare routine. The impressive thing about it is that it offers lesser stickier product finishing.
I would recommend this to loyal Hada Labo users and who likes to have a different lotion for morning and night use.
I received a sample for this. The sample is soooooo cute and so mini!
Saw ads everywhere about Hada Labo and postive reviews so why not to give it a try. When applied it feels hydrated BUT my face gets very oily and looks dull after that!!!! I applied this after cleansing and I guess this product is not suitable at all for my skin.
I had no choice but to stop using it. I would not recommend this to oily skin, but might work well on dry/normal skin.
Hydrating Lotion is formulated with the advanced skin-hydrating ingredient of Super Hyaluronic Acid, retaining twice as much moisture than regular hyaluronic acid. After cleansing skin, squeeze out a few drops of Hydrating Lotion on your palm and rub palms together. Pat palms on face until lotion is fully absorbed. Follow with Hydrating Milk.
Key benefits and ingredients:
• Infused with three types of hyaluronic acid to penetrate deeply to moisturize and soften skin, meanwhile enhancing the water binding ability of skin, leaving your skin smooth, soft, supple and firm.
• One drop locks up an ocean.
• Once you apply, skin becomes supple, nourished and elastic.
• Weak acidic. Low irritation.
