I received a one week sample to try it out. Baking powder makes me feel weird to use it from the beginning as I'm afraid that it'll smell like one, unexpectedly it doesn't smell that bad.
I wear BB Cream everyday and it works well with removing my BB cream even without makeup remover. I used to be a fan of Loreal Pure Zone series but it got discontinued 10 years ago and this facial cleanser with tiny granules works well in removing blackhead bumps in just a single wash, works just the same.
It does have a faint scent of baking powder but it's not that annoying, I'd prefer a natural scent compared to those very strong in fragrance (harsh!)
I think this product is perfect for lazy people like me. Everytime I have to scrub after my cleanse while you don't have to do double work with this cleanser!
the cleanser just work well and nice for me. it does nt shrink my pore nor reduce the pores on my face. anyway, it does cleans my face and wash away all those dirt and oil. BUT, this doesnt mean it can be used as a substitute of makeup remover. and i love how the cleanser can easily produce many bubbles with just few rubsss~ ans the texture of the cleanser is also smooth and soft. i do feel like there was little granules in the cleanser so i will advise people with sensitive skin not to use this as a daily cleanser but as a scrub. other than that, it is a good and effective cleanser that suits very well for people with oily skin.
i'd suggest this cleanser for those with super oily skin. if your skin is about mild-moderate oily, you can use this cleanser but maybe not everyday. i have mild oily skin and i made a mistake of using this cleanser everyday. it dried out my skin and my skin became harsh and flaky. so i tried to taper down my usage to twice a week, and it works great. it removes excess oil on my skin, especially on my T-zone. my pores have became smaller in size and quantity, super love. i bought this cleanser at Etude House Sunway Pyramid when it's on sale ;) i'd suggest this cleanser to my friends :)
I used this product for 2 weeks and i felt that it works well as a daily cleanser. After using, my face felt very refreshed and clean, it also helped to remove the impurities but not 100% as my blackhead were still present.
Product does not irritate the skin as well.
I tried using it as a makeup remover/cleanser but i feel it does not work so well on its own.
I got this as a gift.
If you have been looking for deep cleansing facial wash that could remove makeup, this is it! Unlike other products with a much more expensive price tags, this one actually delivers its promises. Each day I use it I see my skin getting brighter. Although the label on the back are written in Korean so I can’t understand if it is for dry, oily, sensitive or normal skin type, but I have a combination skin that is a little bit sensitive and I never (even once) got irritated since I use this product. The first day I used this product was also the first day of my “red days” so my skin was breaking out and I had a pimple on my chin but after using it (for only a day) my pimple dried up like I used some anti-acne serum but I didn’t. Although there was a dark spot left, but after a few days it getting lighter.
In my opinion this product really works. I tried a lot of Etude House products before but not all impressed me but this cleansing foam is one of the few Etude House products that really impressed me A LOT. I’m really satisfied.
