I first found out this cleanser, is when i notice that my skin is sensitive dry skin, so my dermatologists recommend me this cleanser.
After i heard the recommendation, i quickly buy the trial set first, back home can't wait to use it/ try it, tell you how i feel, i feel so soothing and when i put it on my face, it doesn't rip off my skin barrier but cleanses really well, after rinsing my skin feel extra soft and clean.
The reason i'm going back to this cleanser is that , it is gentle enough for day and night cleanser, especially it is also great for double cleanse. Unlike other product that is a lot of foam, that is not suitable for day time cleansing routine.
I would recommend this for the most sensitive skin and for dry skin. I can't express much that it super gentle. My skin loving it.
These picture show that how it really help my skin.
This was literally the only face cleanser I could use from as a teen til today! Everything else made my poor crazy sensitive, acne prone skin break out, flake, burn, etc. My skin has calmed down a bit since then, but this is still a go-to for me. It is extremely gentle and my skin isn't unbearably tight post wash. I wouldn't use it to remove makeup as it's a little too gentle. Definitely supplement it with an actual makeup remover or oil cleanser if you painted your face that day. For everyday use, however, I like it a lot. A little pricey but last me for about 6 months.
this facial cleanser, i adore! i use this in the morning when i wake up and it's perfect to cleanse your face of the sebum that builds up overnight. nothing too crazy since it's not like i do hurdles in my sleep and sweat truckloads. makes you feel really clean yet isn't excessively drying which i really like!!! it's a clear liquid that doesn't foam much so you will use a lot more than you would if you were to use a foam cleanser. not very economical i daresay! i use this interchangeably with the shiseido speedy perfect whip cleanser, but i daresay i prefer the shiseido one since it has a more gentle smell, plus it's a foam! this cetaphil one has a bit of a soapy scent that sometimes makes me believe i'm doing something detrimental to my complexion by using soap to cleanse. but that's purely a psychological thing LOL i am ridiculous. it's nice to give your skin a break from harsh facial cleansers every once in a while. love the fact that it's in a pump so it's really convenient to use
my mum got this for me back then when i was a wee pre-teen cos she's a super skincare geek and wanted only gentle products. this fit the criteria SO WELL. i'm still using this many, many years later because i just can't get enoughhhh. i used to like cleansers that had other purposes like brightening/mattifying/firming but every once in a while i like to take a break from those and go back to basics. i use this in the morning when i wake up and it's perfect to cleanse your face of the sebum that builds up overnight. nothing too crazy since, i mean, it's not like i do hurdles in my sleep and sweat truckloads. this cleanser makes me feel really clean, awake, and ready to face the chicken rice man to beg him to give me an extra dollop of charsiew sauce on my rice. it's nice to give your skin a break from harsh facial cleansers every once in a while. it's a clear liquid that doesn't really lather so i do find i use quite a lot of the product each time i cleanse. however, it does have a distinctly soapy scent which i'm not fond of sometimes since it gives the impression that i'm washing my face with soap, which is one of my main skincare no-nos. that's just me being silly though. this isn't excessively drying as well, which is always a plus. love the fact that it's in a pump so it's really convenient to use.
My sister had normal to dry skin type but she also had eczema. cetaphil do wonders to her. her eczema lately clinged under her eyes and it irritates her and so painful.
My brother has a pimple prone skin. He is a teenager with no idea on how to take care of his skin properly.
I simply brought cetaphil for him, to help his inflammatory skin to healed. and it works.
i use it when balik kampung
im have a normal to oily skin type.
For daily usage i normally use my usual cleanser. im a typical women whom starting to obsess with the 10 steps korean skin method.
Besides using oil type cleanser as a starter back in kampung, i normally apply this cleanser as my first base cleanser.
it so soothing, gentle and works to remove light make up on its own. you know it is a perfect substitute whenever you dont have any other choice right?
